- Recruitment System (PSCA)
The very first software system of PSCA, built in ASP.NET with a SQL Server backend. This pioneer solution facilitated a transparent and trackable recruitment process, managing a massive number of online applications for the first batch of Police Communication Officer positions. -
E-Challan Management System
Streamlined traffic violation ticketing and payment processes, integrating real-time data from field devices and a public-facing portal. The portal was built by Shamsher Haider’s deputy Mr. Umair Ayub and the subteam working under Umair Ayub in ASP.NET, Elastic Search ,SQL Server and integrated with the Big Data traffic violation detection cluster of PSCA. -
Zindagi App
Launched by the Ministry of Narcotics Control with sposnorship of UNODC, the Zindagi App represents an innovative strategy to combat drug abuse in society. Developed by Shamsher Haider’s team at PSCA—comprising Kamal Subhani, Umair Anwar Sukhaira, and Moeed Farooq—with UI/UX crafted by Umair Saeed and Majid Saleem, this app redefines preventative and rehabilitative approaches to substance abuse. Zindagi empowers users with comprehensive educational resources, including drug awareness, prevention disciplines, treatment options, rehabilitation locations, success stories, and a supportive community feature. Tailored to schools, workplaces, and community settings, its primary goal is to reduce drug dependency and foster a culture of recovery and support. -

Optimized the oversight of police vehicles through tracking, usage analytics, and maintenance scheduling. -

Automated personnel records, attendance, and performance tracking within telecom directorates. -

Women Safety App
Developed in 2016 under Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan’s visionary leadership—and powered by tecnical leadership of Deputy Chief Systems Integration (and later Chief Software Development Officer PSCA) Shamsher Haider—the Women Safety App addresses gender-based harassment through geo-located emergency reports, direct PPIC3 integration, and an instant panic button. Key team members include Umair Ayub, Android Lead Kamal Subhani, iOS Lead Umair Anwar Sukhaira, and Moeed Farooq. A 2020 enhancement led by DIG Kamran Khan and sponsored by UNFPA—introduced advanced security and robust new features. The current version of PSCA Women Safety App is essentially a rebranded version of the original brainchild of Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan. Featuring user-friendly interfaces, multi-channel emergency support, and educational resources, and stands this app is a model for technology-driven public safety innovations in Pakistan. -
LE Park Android App
Streamlined parking management for the Lahore Parking Authority through location-based data and integrated fee collection. -

Inititally developed, managed , hosted and deployed by Shamsher Haider since initiation of PPIC3 PSCA project in 2015 till it was handed over to the PSCA Systems Adminstration team in 2019. Served as the official hub for updates, service details, and public-facing informational resources. -
Electronic Data Center (EDC) Web Portal
Hosted digital evidence and investigative records, enabling secure access and integration with main PPIC3 data repositories. -
Media Monitoring Center (Analytics Software)

Crime Cause Heat Analysis
Mapped and analyzed crime hotspots to guide resource deployment and policy decisions for Punjab Police. Mr . Ali Rajab was the GIS wizard behind this project. -
GIS Based Route Planning / Optical Fiber Layout Planning (PSCA)
Accelerated route planning for police units and facilitated efficient optical fiber infrastructure deployment. -
HRMIS (PSCA)
Centralized HR records, including personal records, attendance, payroll, and performance oversight for the PPIC3 initiative. This was initally hand coded by Shamsher Haider as a solo project using ASP.NET and SQL Server and later versions were developed by the application team working under Shamsher Haider using the initial project as a foundation. -
MDT Challan Android App / E Challan Status Android App
Enabled on-the-spot issuance of citations and provided real-time status checks for both police and public. -
Finance Management System (Internal)
Automated budgeting and expense tracking, offering a transparent overview of all PPIC3 expenditures. -
Lost & Found Management System
Created a unified repository for items reported missing or stolen, cross-checking with existing PPIC3 databases for quicker reconciliation.
